Design by Rosaria Valeri

Cut about one and a half meters of nylon thread.
Start by inserting six beads in the traditional manner. Then take one end of the thread and pass it through the last bead. Join the two ends of the threads until you obtain a small circle. (Don't worry, there will be a detailed tutorial for you to follow soon.) Insert the two ends of the thread into a new bead. At this point you will have a sort of "Q". Lift the circular part and make sure that this "outer" bead ends up in the center, forming a "flower". At this point you should have a small flower. Let's proceed!
The two ends of the thread that come out of this last bead will be splitted: one to the right and one to the left of the upper bead.
At this point this flower will be firmly in place. Now taking just one end of the thread, pass a small pearl, a large one, another small one, another large one and a small one again (therefore: small, large, small, large, small, this is the sequence). Take the other remaining empty thread and pass it through the same beads in reverse order. Tighten, at this point it should look like the flower has a petal. Repeat the operation but alternating the pearls: this time a large one, a small one, a large one and a small one, and tighten again. Continue alternating the "petals" until the bottom is completed.
For the upper part here you can see how to proceed with the bead embodery.
