Design by Valeria Montanucci.

The length is obviously customizable. For this one (about one meter long) 80 chain stitches were started with crochet hook 12.
Starting with 3 chain stitches (for the first high back stitch) and then adding another 5 chain stitches.
Make a single crochet in the fifth chain stitch, then 5 chain stitches again and a single crochet in the fifth base chain stitch.
Turn the work and make 3 chain stitches again, then 5 and again make a single crochet in the fifth chain stitch and so on until finished.
You will need to get some tiny rectangles. Remember that single crochets always go over the base single crochet.
You can choose even to make it higher or lower.
The height of this belt includes three turns and the total base and is 3 rectangles high. With a fine cord-colored jute finish the work with single crochet all around.

Green flower: Magic circle. Inside the circle 13 high stitiches interspersed with a chain stitch. Close with a slip stitch.
You can choose to use your immagination for the shape of the flower.

Rope-colored jute flower: Magic circle, in the circle 3 double crochets and three chain stitches for 6 times.
Close with all low stitches and than close with a slip stitch.

Join the rope-colored flower with the green flower, sewing them one on top of the other.
Then position them (always sewing) about ten centimeters before the end of the belt.
At the opposite end sew a large button, again leaving about 10 cm from the beginning of the waistband.
The button can be hooked to any of the rectangles created, as if they were buttonholes.
