Design By Martha Mollichella
A bracelet inspired by Somalia, which Martha describes as follows:
"Ndlulamite, which means higher than the trees. This design is dedicated to the giraffe.
While I was looking for inspiration in my embroidery notes, I remembered that the reticulated coat of this type of giraffe that lives in the Horn of Africa, looks like embroidery itself! The giraffe symbolizes vision, perception and intuition. Thanks to its height, it has a unique perspective, allowing it to see beyond obstacles and barriers. Whoever wears this bracelet can be guided by the energy and will be able to see from afar!!"
The technique to make this bracelet is the Odd Thread Peyote (watch the video technique here) and download the pattern.
